Globally renowned journalist and publisher of Ovation Magazine International, Aare Dele Momodu has joined the rest of the world in mourning and paying tribute to the longest-serving monarch of Great Britain, Queen Elizabeth II.
Aare Momodu, via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday described the queen as the greatest personality he ever came across as he recalled how he met with the late iconic monarch.
“I was often asked who’s the greatest personality I ever met and my unequivocal response was always: HER MAJESTY, QUEEN ELIZABETH II. On July 29, 1995, I landed at the London Gatwick Airport from Accra, Ghana. For me, it was the beginning of an unplanned and unanticipated sojourn”, the tweet read.
As reported by Theliberationnews, the queen passed away on Thursday aged 96 ending her monumental 70-year reign on the throne.
The news of her death has been characterized by glowing tributes from around the world as a sign of respect and honor for the internationally revered monarch.
