The Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo has described the death of his counterpart in Onigbongbo LCDA, Oladotun Olakanle as too shocking and devastating.

Olasoju expressed his disbelief at the rather sad news of Olakanle’s death in a release published by his media office before mid-day as he announced the postponement of his family Thanksgiving originally scheduled to be held on Sunday 3rd November.

The statement obtained by Theliberationnews read: “I’m constrained to put my family’s thanksgiving service slated for Sunday, November 3 on hold in honour of the memory of Late Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA. Learning about his demise in the early hours of today filled me with a deep sense of loss as our relationship and bromance transcend beyond that of counterparts”.

Olasoju sorely recalled his last discussion with the deceased University of Lagos alumni: “Only last Thursday, Late Oladotun and I, sitting next to ourselves, had a good gist about our administrations and family at the 60th birthday celebration of Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu of Egbe-Idimu LCDA. ‘Tan’tolohun’ showed no discernible sign of sickness or impending death of 10 years talk-less this soon.

“My heart goes out to his family, the APC family, and Conference 57 Chairmen of Lagos State as well as the good people of Onigbongbo LCDA.

“May his wife, children, and all those left to mourn his passing be endowed with the needed state of mind to live with the reality of the irreparable loss” Olasoju concluded.
