It a bid to re-energize the grassroots political base of the party, Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, earlier this week attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ engagement meetings in Wards A, B,C and D in the council area reaffirming his commitment to the progressive political grassroots development and inclusive governance.

The meetings, held in an atmosphere of renewed solidarity at (Ward A) Oluwole Estate, (Ward B) Aguda, Okeira (Ward C) and Powerline (Ward D) respectively, brought together party leaders, members and political office holders in a show of unity and revived political vitality. Hon. Odunmbaku used the platform to highlight the unprecedented strides of his administration in healthcare, empowerment and infrastructure noting that these achievements, which would be continued and enlarged for more impact were made possible through the economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that has empowered local councils to deliver better services.

Odunmbaku alongside LGA Party Chair, Alhaja Stella Kokumo urged party members to demonstrate greater commitment and adopt more effective mobilisation strategies to ensure the party’s success in future elections while also expressing gratitude to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for his consistent support and the numerous constituency projects that have positively impacted Ojodu LCDA.

Present at the engagements were Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Leader of the House, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello and party leaders including Hon. Gbemi Ololade, Chief Mathew Adesanya, Hon. MKO Akindele, Chief Oludele Sonola, Alhaja Kafaya Layeni, Chief Soremekun, Hon Kelvin Ajakaye, Princess Ronke Adebayo as well as stakeholders who all pledged a vote of confidence in support for Odunmbaku’s people-focused leadership.
