A Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State, on Wednesday, struck out a suit filed by some aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress against the last ward congress of the party in the state.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel, in his ruling declined jurisdiction in the suit filed by 2,517 aggrieved APC members believed to be loyalists to a former governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola, who is currently the Minister of Interior.
The judge, whose ruling lasted about one and a half hours, held that issues relating to Congresses remain a domestic affair of political parties.
He promptly struck out the matter.
