Shocking clip of American rapper, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, in a hotel hallway in 2016 has surfaced online.

The footage, captured from multiple angles and obtained by CNN, showed Diddy running after Ventura down the hallway in a towel, before pounding her near the elevators.

After hitting and attacking her, the music star then attempted to drag her back down the corridor.

According to CNN, the incident allegedly took place in the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, adding that the location was verified based on publicly available photos of the former hotel’s interior.

After pushing his ex-girlfriend to the ground, Diddy recovered a purse and suitcase from the floor near the elevators. He turned around and kicked her again as she lay on the floor.

The 37-year-old dancer was later seen in the video slowly standing up and gathering her items from the floor before reaching a hotel phone on the hallway wall near the elevators.

She was gathering her things, apparently in pain, when her former boyfriend came back, still in a towel and socks.

A mirror directly across from the security camera revealed that the 54-year-old ‘Coming Home’ crooner appeared to push Ventura, and subsequently hurled an object at her.

According to CNN, the rapper later paid the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the hallway security footage.

The video seemed to validate several allegations made in a lawsuit brought by Ventura in 2023, in which she claimed she was trafficked, raped and beaten by Diddy on many occasions over 10 years.

According to the complaint, which cited the altercation as occurring “around March 2016,” Diddy became “extremely intoxicated and punched Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye.”
