Adolphus Wabara, former senate president, has been named the new chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Wabara takes over from Walid Jibrin, who stepped down as the BoT chairman earlier on Thursday.
He has also been named the Political Adviser of the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.
Wabara was, before now, the Secretary of the PDP BoT, and according to reports, he would be appointed to the presidential campaign council of the PDP.
