Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted after being voted winner of the Ballon d’Or of All Time.
Ronaldo thanked fans for voting him in a post on X on Thursday.
“Football belongs to the fans! Thank you to all the fans around the world, the Ballon d’Or of All Time is also yours,” he said.
Ronaldo’s 2008 Ballon d’Or-winning season was voted the best in the history of the award.
A public poll was organised to celebrate the award’s 70th anniversary, asking fans to choose their favourite Ballon d’Or-winning season.
Ronaldo finished first, while his eternal rival Lionel Messi’s 2012 season finished second.
