Meet 21-Year-Old Temi Nkem, Winner Of BBNaija Season 11 Who Claims The N160m Prize

Twenty-one-year-old Temitope Chigbue, popularly known as Temi Nkem, has been crowned winner of the 11th season of Big Brother Naija, tagged “Show Ya Sef”.

Temi was declared the winner at the grand finale of the reality television show on Sunday, October 4, 2026, after 70 days of intense competition, drama, romance, arguments, alliances, evictions and unexpected twists.

The London-born Nigerian student, who has roots in Lagos and Delta State, secured 25.87 per cent of the total votes to defeat her fellow finalists and claim the coveted BBNaija crown.

She emerged ahead of Aikou, who finished as first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba placed second runner-up with 9.80 per cent.

Other finalists were Bluethopia, who polled 8.50 per cent; Tram, 8.36 per cent; Flora, 7.71 per cent; Ricky, 7.32 per cent; Oyin, 5.23 per cent; and Barry, who recorded 3.53 per cent.

Temi’s victory earned her the N160 million grand prize package, including N90 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, alongside other prizes from the show’s sponsors.

Who Is Temi Nkem?

Born Temitope Chigbue, Temi Nkem entered the Big Brother house as a 21-year-old student studying Accounting and Finance.
Born in London, she was introduced as a confident, vibrant and outspoken personality who believed she had what it took to make a major impact on the show.

From the early days of the competition, Temi established herself as one of the housemates to watch, combining confidence, social interaction and a willingness to participate fully in the activities and drama that came with life in Biggie’s house.

Her journey was not without its challenges.

In one of the season’s biggest twists, Temi was among Ricky and Tram, who were announced as evicted during a live show. The three housemates, however, were later revealed to have been fake-evicted and were moved into a secret location before returning to the main house.

Her survival of the twist eventually became one of the defining moments of her journey to the final.

The Other Big Names

Temi’s victory came after a season featuring several housemates who became major talking points among BBNaija viewers.

Aikou, who eventually finished as first runner-up, emerged as one of the strongest contenders for the title and maintained a significant presence throughout the competition.

Sheba, the 32-year-old broadcaster from Plateau State, also became one of the season’s most recognisable personalities and eventually secured third place.

Barry emerged as one of the biggest strategic players of the season. After winning the Ultimate Veto Power, he was presented with the choice of “Immunity For All” or “Immunity For None” when 10 housemates remained. He chose immunity for all, effectively guaranteeing the remaining contestants a place in the final week.

Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky and Tram also survived the competition to make the final stretch, each developing their own following and storylines during the 70-day contest.

The season also featured other memorable contestants, including Keivo, whose journey became entangled in one of the season’s major disciplinary controversies, while housemates such as Goddessa, Sultex, Chimsom Chuka, Nomy, Bells and Kamsy also attracted considerable attention at different stages of the competition.

A Season Full of Twists

The 11th edition began on July 26 with 24 housemates, 12 males and 12 females competing for the N160 million prize.

The season quickly became known for its unpredictable twists, heated confrontations, relationships, disqualifications, voluntary exit and strategic manoeuvring.

One of its most dramatic moments came when Barry’s Ultimate Veto Power resulted in all 10 remaining housemates being guaranteed a place in the finale.

The fake eviction involving Temi, Ricky and Tram further added to the suspense as viewers were initially made to believe that three of the contestants had been eliminated.

By the final week, the original 24 housemates had been reduced to nine finalists — Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

When the votes were finally counted, however, Temi emerged ahead of the pack.
With 25.87 per cent of the votes, the 21-year-old Temitope Chigbue secured her place in BBNaija history as the winner of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.

Her victory brings to an end 70 days of one of the most closely followed editions of Big Brother Naija, leaving Temi Nkem with the ultimate prize and a new status as the Season 11 BBNaija champion.
