Theliberationnews reports that the 20 prospective National Youth Service Corps members who were abducted on their way from Oyo State to orientation camps in Abia State have regained their freedom.
They regained their freedom seven days after they were abducted along the Owerri-Onitsha Road in Umunoha, Imo State.
When contacted on Wednesday, Adeola Oloko, the media aide to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, confirmed their release.
He said, “The 20 abductees have regained their freedom. You can quote me. They have been released.”
