The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Isolo Local Branch, under the leadership of Damilola Kushimo, has lauded the Baale of Isale-Odo, Isolo Kingdom, High Chief Rilwan Adebari Agbabiaka Adegoroye I, extolling his virtues of effective leadership and commitment to community development.

Kushimo gave the commendation when he, alongside some officials of the youth umbrella body, paid a courtesy and familiarisation visit to the traditional leader on Thursday.

In his remarks, he commended Chief Agbabiaka for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to community and youth human capital development, highlighting his numerous projects, including educational initiatives that have seen indigent admission seekers receive support through free UTME forms, as well as welfare projects that have made life more meaningful for residents of the Isale-Odo community.

Kushimo also hailed Chief Agbabiaka for including young individuals in his esteemed Council of Chiefs, notable among whom is the Otun Baale, Chief Monsur Aregbe, a resourceful and vibrant member of NYCN Isolo. He noted that this further lends credence to the traditional leader’s belief in the capabilities and potential of young people.
Speaking further, the youth leader specially acknowledged Chief Agbabiaka’s support for the NYCN Isolo Local Branch, describing him as one of the youth group’s dependable pillars of support, while urging him to remain committed to raising the bar of community leadership.

Kushimo noted that a community is better developed when all stakeholders complement governmental efforts in whatever little way they can, as demonstrated by Chief Agbabiaka, rather than leaving the responsibility solely to government.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an award of appreciation to the traditional leader, in recognition of his contributions to youth and community development and his consistent support for the NYCN Isolo Local Branch.

In his remarks, Chief Agbabiaka, who was joined by esteemed members of his Council of Chiefs in hosting the NYCN officials, appreciated the youth group for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the community meritoriously and supporting initiatives that promote youth development and community growth.
