Muslim Engineers Association Inaugurates National Executive Council

The Muslim Engineers Association (TMEA) on Saturday, August 22, 2026, inaugurated its Pioneer National Executive Council at the LCCI Conference and Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

The occasion marked the formal inauguration of the Association’s first National Executive Council under the leadership of its Pioneer President, Engr. Gbadegesin Muftah Osuolale, FNSE.

The event, themed “Engineering Excellence, Ethical Leadership and Service to Humanity Through Islamic Values,” also provided an opportunity for TMEA to unveil its vision and strategic direction as a professional body committed to promoting engineering excellence, ethical leadership, innovation, mentorship and national development through Islamic values.

The inauguration brought together members of the engineering profession, government officials, captains of industry, academia, Islamic organisations, students and the general public, with the Association also positioning the event as an opportunity for engineers, engineering students, researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers and supporters of professional and ethical development to participate in the landmark occasion.
