Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule has emerged as the consensus candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for Lagos West Senatorial District.
Adebule, who currently represents the senatorial district secured the endorsement of the party leaders which included esteemed members of the Governor’s Advisory Council and chairmen of the 28 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the district among other to return to the red chamber.
She made the announcement via a post on her social media pages Sunday evening where she expressed her appreciation and declared that the journey continues.
“I am deeply honoured and sincerely grateful to the leaders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos West, our respected GAC members, Council Chairmen, and dedicated constituency leaders, for the confidence reposed in me through this consensus endorsement as the APC candidate to represent Lagos West Senatorial District at the 2027 General Elections,” the former Lagos State Deputy Governor wrote.
She described the unanimous endorsement as humbling and inspiring adding that It further strengthens her resolve to continue serving with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the progress and wellbeing of good people of Lagos West.
“Together, we will keep building, keep progressing, and keep delivering for Lagos West. The journey continues,” she declared.
