The Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku has expressed gratitude to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for seeing to the ongoing resurfacing of Ogunnusi Road in Ogba area of the council.
Odunmbaku conveyed his appreciation when he made an on-the-spot assessment of the project on Saturday as contained in a press statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Akinkunmi Bello.
The council boss extended his gratitude to Lagos State agencies, including the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure led by Engr. Femi Daramola, Ministry of Environment and the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) under Engr. Tokunbo Ajanaku for their seamless collaboration.
In the same vein Odunmbaku commended the Council Engineers for their masterful reconstruction of drainage from NIJ to Excellence Hotel on Ogunwusi Road, the Department of Environmental Services for the extensive drainage desilting on streets like Mokuolu, Abiodun Jagun and Abisogun Leigh ensuring effective drainage and road durability.
He announced the facilitation of Ayo Alabi and Makuolu Streets rehabilitation, thanking residents and businesses around the project site for their patience.
“These projects will enhance commercial activities, improve movement and increase patronage,” he stated.
Odunmbaku reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to infrastructural development in line with its H.E.Y.S Agenda and in tandem with Lagos State THEMES+ Agenda, ensuring Ojodu LCDA’s continued growth and prosperity.
In the council boss’ entourage were the Leader of The Legislative House, Hon Opeyemi Apatira, Hon Lekan Peters and Council Engineers from Ojodu LCDA.
