United States President Donald Trump says he will move to Israel and become prime minister if Americans ever get tired of him.
Trump made the remark on Tuesday during an interview with Fox News on the day of the US midterm elections.
According to the President, he enjoys a 99 per cent approval rating in Israel.
“My approval rating in Israel is 99 per cent. If people in the United States get fed up with me, I’ll move to Israel and become prime minister,” he said.
Trump was speaking about the relationship between the United States and Israel.
He also disclosed that the US will stop giving Israel $4 billion in yearly aid from 2027 after an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to him, Israel does not need the aid but would continue to buy weapons from America.
This is not the first time Trump has made the joke. He said a similar thing in May this year.
