The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, David Odunmbaku has saluted the council workforce on this year’s international workers day.
In a personally signed press statement made available to Theliberationnews, the council boss described the workers as the backbone of the council, Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
The statement read: “As we welcome the new month of May, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to our resilient and hardworking citizens on the occasion of International Workers’ Day 2025.
“Your daily contributions remain the backbone of our LCDA’s growth and Nigeria’s progress. At Ojodu LCDA, we value your efforts and have prioritized initiatives that directly uplift workers and their families. From palliatives to empowerment programmes, healthcare access to skill development, our commitment remains unwavering.
“In the months ahead, we are expanding these support systems to reach even more households, ensuring that no one is left behind. Let’s continue working together for a more prosperous, inclusive and empowered Ojodu LCDA.
“May this new month bring renewed strength, progress and fulfilment. Happy Workers’ Day and a Prosperous New Month!”
