The Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi was full of praises for the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku for his tireless in infrastructural renewal in the council area.
Ojelabi gave the commendations on Thursday as he joined the council boss and other top dignitaries in Ojodu and beyond to commission the newly reconstructed Irebawa and Oduroye Streets.
The twin projects mark another milestone in Odunmbaku’s commitment to infrastructure renewal and urban development.
Ojelabi, commended Odunmbaku for his visionary leadership, noting that his developmental strides has affirmed the party’s trust in his leadership and his administration.
The party chairman also credited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, which have enhanced local government funding, fostering rapid infrastructural growth. Additionally, he acknowledged the productive collaboration between Hon. Odunmbaku and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke (MHR, Ikeja Federal Constituency) in driving monumental progress within Ojodu LCDA.
Earlier before the state chairman’s gloomy remarks, Odunmbaku explained that the road project is a strategic investment aimed at enhancing mobility, boosting local businesses and improving security.
The 415-meter-long Irebawa Street, now fitted with modern streetlights and covered drainage, will serve as a crucial link between Osunlalu Street and the recently completed 95 meters Oduroye Street and significantly ease movement between Wards C and D in Ojodu LCDA.
On their part, Ojodu APC Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo, and the Oba of Aguda, Oba Hakeem Agbaosi, lauded the chairman’s efforts at the event epochal event.
Also, one of the Apex Leaders, Chief Mathew Adesanya, CDC Chairman, Pastor Segun Fayemi, Religious Leaders, Council Officials, Youth Representatives, DPOs and women groups chorused the project as a major step toward achieving sustainable urban development in Ojodu LCDA.
