Baring any unforeseen circumstances, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers State seems set to initiate a probe panel to look into the administration of his predecessor in office and incumbent Minister for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, Barrister Nyesome Wike.

Fubara spoke while swearing-in Dagogo Iboroma, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, as the state’s new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.

It would be recalled that Iboroma was earlier on Monday screened and confirmed as Commissioner-designate.

While speaking at the ceremony, Fubara charged Iboroma to quickly set up a panel of enquiry to look into the activities of the state government in the last 8 years.

With this development, the political supremacy battle between Fubara and Wike might be assuming a frightening dimension.
