Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, the governor of Ondo State has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the foremost presidential candidate in the country and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for redeeming the N75 million promised victims of the Owo terrorists attack.

This was contained in a press statement released on Tuesday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde.

Olatude noted that the governor spoke in his office on Tuesday while receiving the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission led by its chairman and former deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dare Emiola.

The Owo attack was among the subjects of discourse during the meeting as Akeredolu expressed his gratitude to those who have redeemed their promises to the victims and the church.

He went further to appreciate the security agents for apprehending the perpetrators, expressing confidence that justice will be served at the end of the day.

The unfortunate Owo attack happened on Sunday, June 5 when terrorists attacked Saint Francis Church killing no fewer than forty worshippers.
