All is getting set for the 2025 Local Government election in Lagos State as the governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu inaugurates the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
The governor administered oath of office on the commission’s Chairman, Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighile and members which include Mr. Samson Ajibade, Mr. Akin Durojaiye Oluwo, Dr. Olumide Olusola Metilelu, Mr. Abeeb Dapo Aileru and Hon. Oladele Adekanye today and their mandate is to coordinate the proposed Local Government elections in Lagos State.
The electoral umpire is expected to release the guidelines for the election in the coming days.
