The Nigerian Export Promotion Council [NEPC] is seeking to enable laws that will further help to drive the nation’s exports and earn more foreign exchange.
It said such enabling laws will further assist to create economic empowerment for the people and eliminate poverty to the barest minimum
NEPC Executive Director, Dr. Ezra Yakusat dropped the hint at the weekend during a walk and jogging exercise for the creation of awareness on the importance of export held in Abuja.
Yakusat, who is also the NEPC’s Chief Executive Officer, told journalists that the significance of the exercise was to tell Nigerians that export is the only way to liberate the nation currently from the economic quagmire.
He explained that the exercise themed, ‘’Export 4Survival’’ was put in place to sensitise the people across the country on the urgent need for export for national development.
