The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Isolo Local Branch, Lagos, has rejoiced with the Muslim Ummah across the council area, preaching love, selflessness, obedience and sacrifice as Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid al Adha.
In a statement released by the Coordinator, Damilola Kushimo, he described Eid al Adha as a sacred period that reflects the virtues of total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, compassion for humanity and commitment to peaceful coexistence.
The council urged youths across Isolo LCDA to emulate the exemplary lifestyle of Prophet Ibrahim whose unwavering faith, obedience and sacrifice remain the cornerstone of the celebration.
Kushimo further encouraged young people to continue to promote unity, tolerance and mutual respect irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, stressing that national growth and community development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and togetherness.
While congratulating Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the spiritual exercise, the youth umbrella prayed for continuous peace, progress and prosperity in Isolo LCDA, Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
“May this festive season strengthen the bonds of love among our people and inspire us all towards greater acts of kindness, service and patriotism,” the statement added.
