The Federal Government has fixed the national youth conference for February 2025.

This development comes after President Bola Tinubu’s Independence Day broadcast, where he announced plans for a 30-day national youth conference to address pressing issues affecting young Nigerians, including unemployment, education, and political participation.

Retionalising the conference, Tinubu explained that it aims to provide a platform for meaningful dialogue and empower young people to participate actively in nation-building.

Tinubu said, “By ensuring that their voices are heard in shaping the policies that impact their lives, we are creating a pathway for a brighter tomorrow.”

The planned conference is part of the administration’s response to recent youth-led protests, including #EndBadGovernance in August 2024 and the #FearlessOctober in October 2024.
