In a bid to sustainably safeguard the health and well-being of Igbogbo/Bayeku residents , the Council Chairman, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, has embarked on an extensive Cholera Advocacy Awareness Campaign.

This initiative was said to educate and sensitize residents across the 5 Wards of the LCDA, targeting schools, markets, and communities at large.

Cholera, an acute diarrheal illness caused by infection of the intestine, remains a significant public health concern, particularly in regions with inadequate access to clean water and sanitation. During these visits, they engaged directly with students, teachers, market vendors, and the community at large, emphasizing the importance of hygiene, clean water, and proper sanitation. These visits underscored the administration’s hands-on approach and commitment to combating cholera at the grassroots level.
