Adigun Ibrahim, MNSE, on Wednesday, led the state executive as well as coordinators of local branches within Ikorodu Division in the state to a security Townhall meeting organised by council Chairmen in the division.

Adigun, in his remarks, commended the council chairmen in the division for their thoughtfulness.
Speaking of the proposed protest, Adigun remarked that although protest is part of the key features of democracy it is not what is needed at this time when the nation’s economy is being re-engineered.
He acknowledged the unintended hardship occasioned by the economic policies but urged Nigerians especially, the youths to rethink the protest as he called for dialogue with the government.
The youth leader went on to commend the state government for the numerous initiatives put in place to support youths of the state.
He hinted that the youth body will hold a press conference on Saturday where all youth leaders across the state and other stakeholders in the youth space will converge to address the protest.
