The Engr. Adigun-led National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter has successfully inaugurated new leadership in the Ejigbo local branch.
The local branch held its election on Thursday at the secretariat of Ejigbo LCDA, with Comrade Femi Shomuyiwa emerging as its new coordinator.
Leading the state executives, which included the State Secretary, Comrade Gbemisola Adeniyi, Vice Chairman (West) Comrade David Aladeolotan, Organising Secretary (West) Comrade Abdulhakeem Agbaje, and state legal adviser Barrister Aroyewun Adeleke, Adigun ensured the proper conduct of the election and the subsequent inauguration of the new executives.
In his address during the ceremony, Adigun congratulated the new executives emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration to drive youth initiatives in the the local branch.
He encouraged the executives to key int the #P3+ agenda of the state and prioritize development projects that would positively impact the lives of young people in Ejigbo and surrounding areas.
Comrade Femi Shomuyiwa, in his acceptance speech, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work diligently to foster growth and unity within the branch. He also called for support from all members to achieve their collective goals.
