Embattled Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara has mocked his adversaries as he re-established his position as the governor of the state.
Fubara, while addressing fellow congregants at the Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt in what was his first public appearance after he was, alongside his deputy and members of the state house of assembly slammed with six months suspension by President Bola Tinubu said the red biro is still with him thereby reaffirming his position as the substantive governor of the state.
Dressed in an all-white outfit, Fubara received a warm welcome from worshippers who loudly cheered him as he arrived.
Many were seen shouting ‘Governor Fubara, Governor Fubara’. Security officials of the church and Fubara’s aides tried to control the worshippers.
