Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council (LACO-FSIC) on Saturday appraised the composition of the expanded cabinet of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, describing it as fitting and dependable.
The body in a congratulatory message to new state commissioners who took the oath of office on Friday, remarked that the governor had indeed made a careful selection of those to put in the front-burner in the effective delivery of various developmental goals he had set to achieve.
Commending the appointments in a statement issued through the State Director of Information of the LACO-FSIC, Mr. Kayode Fasua, the group’s Convener, Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi, stated that “now, the state’s vehicle of development can run in full throttle”.
Okeyomi, popularly known as Carry Go, remarked that the circumstances of the passage of the late former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, which put Aiyedatiwa in the saddle, naturally required that he settle down and study prevailing socio-political and economic turn of events, prevalent in the state.
“I, on behalf of the LACO-FSIC, commend Mr. Governor’s foresight in carefully selecting members of his cabinet and other aides for the smooth running of his administration.”
He also thanked the governor for finding some members of the organisation worthy in the composition of his cabinet, assuring that they would not let him down.
Recall that the governor had earlier appointed six commissioners and other aides, before the latest appointment of 12 commissioners.
Meanwhile, Okeyomi equally urged All Progressives Congress (APC) members to come out en mass and receive Governor Aiyedatiwa in their respective localities, in the campaigns for the governorship ticket of the party, ahead of the general election slated for next November.
“Through this, you will hear first-hand, and from the horse’s mouth, the various welfare programmes and the list of infrastructural projects the governor has designed for human empowerment and community growth, respectively, in your area,” he prodded.
