Asalulola Felicitates Alake, Egba Indigenes On 39th Lisabi Festival

Hon. Abiola Quadri Asalulola, a leading aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Obafemi Owode State Constituency, has extended warm felicitations to the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, and all Egba sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora on the occasion of the 39th edition of the annual Lisabi Festival.

In a goodwill message issued through his media team, Asalulola described the Lisabi Festival as a timeless symbol of unity, courage, and the rich cultural heritage of the Egba people, noting that the annual celebration continues to preserve the history and identity of Egbaland.

“On behalf of the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government and my supporters, I congratulate the Alake of Egbaland and all Egba sons and daughters across the world on this year’s Lisabi Festival. The festival remains a reminder of our shared history, cultural pride, and the strong spirit of unity among the Egba people,” he stated.

Asalulola, a grassroots mobilizer, commended the organisers and traditional institutions for sustaining the festival over the years. He described it as a cultural event that celebrates the heroic legacy of Lisabi Agbongbo-Akala while also promoting tourism, cultural education, and community bonding.

He further noted that the festival continues to unite Egba sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora, strengthen communal ties, and inspire the younger generation to uphold the values of courage, unity, and resilience passed down by their forebears.

Asalulola urged Egba indigenes to use the occasion to promote peace, mutual understanding, and collective development across Egbaland.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that preserve cultural heritage, empower communities, and promote sustainable development within Obafemi Owode State Constituency and beyond.

“As we celebrate the heroic legacy of Lisabi and the enduring greatness of Egbaland, may this festival continue to inspire unity, progress, and prosperity for our people,” he added.
