Foremost religious association, Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria rolls out the drums on Sunday in celebration of its 102nd anniversary and with deep gratitude to Almighty Allah for His guidance, protection, and continuous support.

Founded in 1923, the Society proudly celebrates over a century of unwavering dedication to Islamic propagation, educational advancement, healthcare delivery, interfaith harmony, and community development across Nigeria.

A press statement by its National President, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, reads: “As we commemorate this landmark anniversary, the leadership of the Society commends the steadfastness, sacrifices, and commitment of members globally who have remained faithful to the founding objectives of Ansar-Ud-Deen. Their dedication has sustained the vision of the Society in the critical areas of education, missionary activities, healthcare services, interfaith cooperation, community intervention, dissemination of government support initiatives, and promotion of peace and security.

“In furtherance of its healthcare mandate, Ansar-Ud-Deen recently launched AnsarCare, a medical outreach initiative designed to expand access to quality healthcare services, especially for underserved communities. In addition, the establishment of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Foundation represents a renewed institutional framework for supporting infrastructural development, welfare programs, and social interventions for the benefit of members and the wider society.

“The Society also proudly acknowledges the remarkable strides being made by Summit University, Offa, an institution owned by Ansar-Ud-Deen Society. The University continues to record significant progress in delivering quality tertiary education, research, and character development, further reinforcing the Society’s legacy as a foremost contributor to educational development in Nigeria. It recently inaugurated its 3rd Governing Council of the University at the 4th & 5th Graduation Ceremonies as part of its efforts to improve the quality of education and graduates it produces.

“Ansar-Ud-Deen Society expresses deep concern over the prevailing security challenges facing Nigeria and sympathizes with all communities affected by insecurity. However, the Society commends His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the recent internal and external efforts aimed at resetting and strengthening the nation’s security architecture. These efforts reflect a renewed commitment to restoring peace and stability across the country.

“The Society pledges its full support to the Federal Government and the President’s security initiatives. We also call on all members of Ansar-Ud-Deen, particularly our Imams and religious leaders, to continue to use their platforms to preach peace, restraint, patriotism, and lawful conduct, while urging all citizens to eschew acts that are inimical to national peace, unity, and security.

“As we celebrate 102 years of impactful service to humanity, the 187 branches of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society, from Lagos to London, Ilorin to Atlanta, Ejigbo to Abidjan, Abuja to Washington and in every corner where Ansar-Ud-Deen exists, we remain resolute in our mission to promote faith, knowledge, healthcare, social justice, and peaceful coexistence, in line with our founding principles and national aspirations.”
