Brazil’s Barbara Jankavski, popularly known as Boneca Desumana ‘Inhuman Barbie’ has reportedly passed away after undergoing 27 cosmetic surgeries to achieve her doll-like look.

Theliberationnews gathered that the 31-year-old was found dead in a townhouse in São Paulo. Authorities have classified her death as “suspicious” pending the results of an autopsy.

Emergency services were called to the property but were unable to revive her. According to reports, a friend who had been with her earlier that day told police that Barbara had injured her eye before she passed away.

Just weeks before her sudden death, Barbara shocked her followers after posting a selfie showing bruising and black eyes from a recent facelift. In the video, she tried to reassure fans that she was recovering well, writing:

“Day 3 of the facelift by @dr.aurilioluis @asanasal_dedivas, improving way too fast! Almost invisible scar!”

She added that the injuries “looked scarier than they really were.”

Over the years, Barbara reportedly spent more than £42,000 (N87.8m) on cosmetic surgeries in her quest to look like a real-life Barbie doll. Her transformation journey, which she frequently shared online, made her a viral sensation in Brazil.

She had over 55,000 followers on Instagram and more than 344,000 on TikTok, where she showcased her lifestyle, beauty routines, and post-surgery recoveries. Beyond social media, Barbara also appeared in several Brazilian TV shows and ad campaigns.

However, fans noticed her unusual silence in recent weeks. Her last Instagram post was on October 1, where she shared a video of herself meeting another influencer, Avos Da Razao. Her final TikTok upload came even earlier on September 7 in a video about her spending habits.
