The presidential candidate African Action Congress (AAC) in 2023 general elections and human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has been arrested.
He was arrested in Abuja on Thursday by police officers shortly after leaving the Federal High Court.
The officers, who arrested Sowore, said they were acting on ‘orders from above’.
Despite his lawyers’ protests, he was immediately whisked away.
