The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, on Tuesday hosted members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Health during their oversight visit to the council.

The lawmakers, led by the Committee Chairman, Hon Lawal Aina Musibau inspected several health facilities, including the remodelled Ogba Primary Health Centre, where the ongoing “See A Doctor” Free Surgery Programme has provided essential medical surgery, treatment and aftercare to 456 residents.

Impressed with Odunmbaku’s tireless efforts in making healthcare free and accessible to residents, the committee members commended Hon. Odunmbaku for his visionary leadership and sustainable healthcare investments under his HEYSRELOADED Agenda, which prioritises accessible and quality health services.

They described Ojodu LCDA as a model of grassroots healthcare, highlighting the redevelopment of three Primary Health Centres and the introduction of digital health documentation—a first at the local government level in Nigeria.

Hon. Odunmbaku who hosted the Committee Members alongside the Council’s Leader of the House, Hon Opeyemi Apatira and Deputy Leader, Hon Lanre Ogunnoiki with Hon Abass Shakiru Abiodun during the visit reaffirmed his commitment to making Ojodu LCDA a benchmark for innovative, affordable healthcare delivery.
