The All Progressives Congress has told the general public to disregard fake timetable being circulated on the social media about its nationwide congresses.
The party described the timetable as fake and unauthorised.
Theliberationnews observed that the said timetable, which was making rounds earlier on Sunday, was titled “Draft” and contained the schedules for the party’s nationwide congresses and other related activities.
Also, it contained prices for the purchase of forms for various positions in the ruling party.
In a statement issued on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, APC said it was not responsible for the document currently in circulation.
“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to ‘APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities’ widely in circulation on social media.
“Our great Party wishes to clarify that the purported Schedule of Activities for Congresses was neither made nor authorised by the party and should be disregarded as FAKE NEWS,” Morka stated.
The party urged members and the public to rely solely on official communication channels for verified information regarding its internal processes.
