In a significant push for youth empowerment, Crystalait International Limited has hosted a comprehensive outreach event for students at the African Church Community Grammar School in Apata Ibadan, Oyo State.
The programme, held with the theme “You Can Be All You Want To Be As A Girl,” directly benefited 165 female students with donations of sanitary pads and critical discussions on personal development.
The event focused on empowering the girls by promoting menstrual hygiene management to boost confidence and ensure continuous school attendance.
It also featured an impactful session addressing the crucial topic of sexual purity, equipping the girls with essential life skills for their personal growth.
Demonstrating a commitment to inclusive community development, the initiative also extended to 90 male students, who each received toothpaste to emphasize the importance of oral hygiene and overall well-being for all young people.
The CEO of Crystalait International Limited, Olaitan Akisanya, emphasized the company’s deeper mission behind the event, stating,
“This initiative underscores our dedication to nurturing young minds and fostering a culture of empowerment. We believe that by investing in the education and well-being of our youth, especially our girls, we are actively creating a brighter future for Nigeria,” she said.
The event was met with enthusiastic appreciation from the school community.
A teacher from the school confirmed the programme’s profound effect, noting, “the event resonated deeply with our students, sparking meaningful conversations and inspiring positive change. We are grateful for Crystalait’s commitment to our students’ holistic development.”
