On Friday, 19th of September, 2027, the Ojokoro MFM Football pitch will witness a mammoth crowd as residents of Ojokoro prepare for the official launch of Tinubu 2027 “T’27”. The aim is to mobilise community support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope initiatives and call on him to seek a second term in 2027.
Expected to be the chairman and special guest of honour at the occasion is a Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) member and Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.
Speaking on behalf of the local organising committee (LOC), the lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye 02 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Olotu Emmanuel, highlighted the various landmark projects of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reasons he should seek a second term in office in 2027.
“The Tinubu presidency is a blessing to all Nigerians; the various initiatives should be allowed to see the light of day,” says Hon. Olotu.
Also speaking, a resident, Mr Ishaq Temilade, told the NEWSHERALDNG REPORTER that information about the Tinubu 2027 launch has begun to spread in the local government since July during the local government election, and he has been anticipating it.
“Finally, we are aware that on Friday 19th September TINUBU 2027 will be officially launched. We are ready for it because we are very pleased with the various reforms embarked upon by the Tinubu-led presidency. What we are experiencing now in terms of economic reform ought to have happened 25 years ago as we switched from military rule to democratic leadership, but the complaisance of the then leadership didn’t make it happen. For President Bola Tinubu to have taken the bull by its horns, he has shown leadership and capacity to deliver long-term gains for us and our children and generations yet unborn. The pains are temporary; the gains should be our focus. And for these reasons, I will be at the launching and mobilise those that I can influence to also see reasons for supporting President Bola Tinubu for 2027.” Mr Temilade concluded.
Former commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development of Lagos State, Dr Idris Salako, said the infrastructure deficits being handled by the Tinubu-led presidency are beyond human comprehension and should not be allowed to be cut short by enemies of the country in the name of a coalition that lacks the blueprint of what exactly they want to address in nation building.
If you recall, the Tinubu 2027 team, through the Secretary of Apex Leadership of APC in Ojokoro LCDA, Mr Mobolaji Sanusi, said in July 2025 that Tinubu 2027 Group in Ojokoro is widely opened to all residents irrespective of political affiliation, race, cultural background, and colour.
“The group is for the true lovers of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, those who believe in his leadership prowess and those who are craving good governance and, most importantly, loyalists.” Sanusi concluded.
The event is billed to commence by 10am prompt at the Ojokoro Mountain of Fire Football Field, Ajala, Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos. Expected as guests of honour are political bigwigs in Lagos and Abuja, traditional and community leaders, artisans, volunteer organisations and all residents of Ojokoro LCDA.
