The federal lawmaker representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule has assured her constituents of more impactful projects.
Adebule disclosed this during a strategic meeting with youth leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 28 Local Government Areas and Local council development areas in the senatorial district.
The meeting was held at her constituency office in Ikeja GRA, on Tuesday.
The lawmaker who was recently ranked as the top performing female senator in Nigeria, according to the ERGAF-Africa, impressed on the youth leaders her unwavering commitment to keep matching words with actions on her promises of qualitative representation and putting in place meaningful projects across the senatorial district.
Adebule described her meeting with the youth leaders as not only timely but purposeful as she further acquainted them with her previous developmental strides and what lies ahead.
“This gathering was not only timely, but deeply purposeful. It provided an opportunity to formally update our grassroots leaders on the strides we have made so far in delivering on our mandate, to realign our collective goals, and to set clear expectations for the work ahead,” Adebule explained in a personally signed press statement obtained by Theliberationnews.
“I took time to outline the significant progress we have recorded across various sectors since assuming office in the Senate, from legislative contributions to the empowerment of youths and women, infrastructural interventions, educational support programs, and community development initiatives that touch lives at the grassroots.
“More importantly, I used the platform to express my heartfelt appreciation to each coordinator and youth leader for their unwavering commitment, loyalty, and sacrifice. Your efforts continue to drive our shared success, and I do not take that for granted,” the former Lagos state deputy governor added.
She charged the youth leaders with the need to remain dedicated to the cause and strategies of the party ahead of the forthcoming elections.
“In looking ahead, I assured all present that the next phase of our work will bring more impactful projects and greater opportunities for youth involvement in governance and leadership. My office remains open to ideas, feedback, and collaboration, and I am committed to ensuring that no LGA or ward is left behind in our developmental agenda.
“We are building a stronger, more inclusive Lagos West—and we can only achieve this by standing together, working together, and delivering together.
“Once again, I thank all attendees for their presence, their energy, and their enduring belief in our shared vision,” the statement read.
