The 2023 New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, Presidential Candidate, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has officially distanced himself from a purported letter which it said to be written to APC seeking to joined the Party.
Kwankwaso who responded to the insinuations that he had Personally written to APC asking them to give him chance to rejoin the Party, notes that, “there was nothing like that happened”.
The speculation had already triggered the Kano chapter of the APC to hold an emergency meeting in Abuja rejecting any moves by the Former Kano State Governor (Kwankwaso) to comes to the APC.
The APC Kano chapter meeting in Abuja saw who is who in the party including the immediate past National Chairman of the party, Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje in attendance and the Deputy President of the Senate Senator Barau Jibrin.
However, Kwankwaso in his response the morning of Friday in Kano, cleared that, “I had never written any letters to APC or any other Party to that effect seeking to joined them”.
He said, “People’s should discard this kind of rumors which was created by ideal minds who have no jobs doing, because any officials letter from Me comes directly from my office”.
“You should know that Social Media sometimes is not a reliable means of information gathering you should wait to hear officially from Me not from any baseless quarters”, he added.
