The Nigeria Police Force has reportedly seen to the rescue of popular TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, who was allegedly abducted by unknown gunmen on Wednesday during a livestreaming session.
Peller’s abduction had elicited widespread concern among his followers and colleagues.
However, in an update shared on Thursday morning, fellow content creator Sandra Benede confirmed that he had been found and is currently in police custody.
In a live broadcast, Sandra said: “They have seen him. The DPO has seen him.
“They haven’t given details yet, but he has been found.”
Details surrounding the incident and the circumstances of his rescue have not yet been released by the police.
