Lagos State University (LASU) is set to formally commission and handover the newly constructed Olatunji-Bello Auditorium, a state-of-the-art facility.
The edifice was donated by the humanist Executive Vice-Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Mr Olatunji-Bello, a foremost journalist, lawyer, political scientist and accomplished public administrator.
The event, according to a press statement obtained by Theliberationnews is scheduled to come up on Wednesday, 20th August 2025 at the Epe Campus by 10 am.
Special Guest of Honour is the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu while the Chairman of the historical event is the Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Olatunji Alausa.
The Commissioning will be graced by top-ranking federal and state government officials and university dignitaries alongside members of the LASU community.
This iconic edifice stands as a symbol of Honourable Olatunji Bello’s unwavering commitment to education, youth empowerment, and institutional development. The auditorium, equipped with modern facilities, will serve as a hub for academic lectures, conferences, symposia, and other strategic engagements.
