The Lagos State Government has declared Wednesday, 20th August, 2025 as work-free day to commemorate this Isese Day.
The announcement was contained in a memo issued by the Head of Service, Bode Agoro, on Monday and obtained by Theliberarionnews.
According to Agoro, the declaration was in furtherance of the state government’s commitment towards promoting indigenous culture, tradition and cultural heritage.
He added that all public servants are to result work on Thursday, 21st August 2025.
