A 200-level student of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) will reportedly be facing disciplinary panel soon after allegedly leaving a piece of cheating material commonly referred to as “expo” inside his answer booklet during an examination.
An X user @bahdboydara shared details of the undesirable incident attaching a photo as evidence.
In the post, it was observed that the student, from the Faculty of Arts, had written his exam using a tiny piece of paper containing prepared answers which he mistakenly left inside his answer booklet before submitting it.
In the photo that accompanied the post, the ‘expo’ could be seen attached to the answer booklet, including the student’s matriculation number, saying: “22/15CD2**, you forgot to remove your expo from your booklet after cheating.” The material was clearly visible inside the script.
Exam malpractice is a serious offense in educational institutions and UNILORIN is not an exception. It is expected that the student will be made to face a disciplinary committee and will be punished accordingly, if found guilty.
