As the people of Ojodu LCDA head to the council polls tomorrow, the choice before us is not just about another election — it is about securing a future anchored on sustainable development, inclusive governance and people-centred progress. It is about revalidating the mandate of a man that has walked the talk.
Hon. Segun Odunmbaku whilst in office during his first term has demonstrated a leadership style that listens, serves and delivers. Under the #HEYSAgenda, the administration has implemented impactful initiatives including upgrade of primary health centers, free surgeries, distribution of free JAMB and GCE forms, school renovations, scholarships and bursaries for indigent students, free transportation for residents and discounted food palliatives during difficult economic times. Roads have been constructed and rehabilitated across the LCDA to ease mobility and promote commerce whilst security formations were provided with patrol vehicles and equipments to promote peace and safety.
The journey, however, is not over. A vote for the reelection of Hon Segun Odunmbaku and the APC team — including his running mate Alhaja Kafaya Layeni with the six dynamic councillorship candidates — is a vote for the redevelopment of markets, building of recreational centres, expansion of capacity-building programmes for youths and the upscaling of socioeconomic empowerment schemes that would touch every demographic in the community, ensuring no one is left behind through the #HEYSRELOADED Agenda.
Tomorrow’s vote is a vote to consolidate on the progress made and unlock even greater transformation. Let us, the people of Ojodu LCDA, rise with one voice! one purpose!, and one vision! — to vote Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, Alhaja Kafaya Layeni and all APC councillorship candidates for a stronger, better and more prosperous Ojodu LCDA.
