The National President of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Prince Mosediq Kazeem (SAN), has urged Nigerians to offer prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and sustain confidence in the administration’s efforts to make Nigeria better.
Kazeem made the call on Friday in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, while addressing pressmen after leading a delegation of the Society on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
He said although Nigeria continues to face difficult times, the country is undergoing a process that requires unity, understanding, and consistent prayers for its leaders.
“Nigeria is on the right course and in the right direction, being steered by a capable hand. Let us all join hands in prayers for the country and Mr. President for a safe landing,” he said.
Prince Kazeem and his team were in Kwara as part of a familiarisation tour of the Society-owned Summit University in Offa.
At the Emir’s palace, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari lauded the role of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society in promoting Islamic values and education.
He recalled his personal connection with the group during his time in Lagos, saying he worshipped in a mosque established by the Society throughout his eight years in the city.
The monarch also prayed for the continued progress of the Society and urged its members to remain steadfast in their mission.
The delegation later visited Summit University, where the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abiodun Aibinu, described the visit as significant and encouraging.
Prof. Aibinu outlined some of the university’s achievements in recent years and credited the growth to divine blessings, staff dedication, and the support of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society.
Responding, Prince Kazeem expressed satisfaction with the institution’s progress and praised the management team for their focus and commitment.
He noted that Summit University was on track to becoming one of Nigeria’s foremost Islamic faith-based institutions of higher learning.
