The leading chairmanship aspirant in Agege Local Government, AbdulGaniyu Obasa has sympathised with the victim of truck accident that happened in Agege on Saturday.

Theliberationnews reported that a truck plunged from the Pen Cinema Bridge crushing two commercial buses.

The accident, according to preliminary reports left the driver of the articulated truck severely injured.

Sympathising with the victim, AbdulGaniyu Obasa; son of the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, in an emotion-laden press statement obtained by Theliberationnews on Sunday wrote, “I am deeply saddened by the heartbreaking accident that occurred yesterday at the Agege Pen Cinema Bridge.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this tragic incident.

“It pains me to see such loss and suffering in our beloved community. No one should have to experience such grief while simply going about their daily lives.

“In moments like these, we are reminded of how precious every life is, and how urgently we must work together to make Agege safer for all.

“I pray for quick healing for the injured and strength for their families. Please know that you are not alone, the entire Agege community stands with you in this difficult time.

May God comfort and protect us all.“
