To consolidate its preparation for the July 12 local government elections in the Lagos State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has appointed former National Legal Adviser of the party and one time honorable member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Babatunde Ogala as the chairman of its Electoral Committee.

This was contained in a press statement made available to Theliberationnews on Monday afternoon by the party’s spokesperson, Mogaji (Hon) Oluseye Oladejo.

The part also appointed Mr. Babarinde Nurudeen as the secretary of the committee.

According to Oladejo, the committee is expected to over-see all the activities and processes leading to the conduct of the elections in to the grassroots positions.

Tasking the duo with delivering on the party’s expectations of them, Oladejo explained that their appointments were based on their immense experience as he urged all and sundry to
give them the requisite support and cooperation to ensure the party’s success at the polls.
