The simmering dispute rocking the Lagos State House of Assembly might be finally over with Theliberationnews findings that the lawmakers are presently in Abuja to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The meeting, as gathered by our Aviation correspondent was at the fatherly instance of President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, in his statesmanly move to lastingly resolve the few musings in the Assembly.
Our correspondent gathered that the lawmakers landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International airport at around past 1 this afternoon and moved straight to the Presidential Villa for he scheduled meeting with the president.
Recall that the lawmakers have been divided against themselves since Jan. 13 when Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa was contentiously impeached as the speaker, in absentia.
The impeachment was met with vehement rejection by the lawmaker representing Agege Constituency 1 who held on till he was reinstated last Monday.
Speaking after his reinstatement, Obasa expressed appreciation to his colleagues and party leaders, as well Bisi Akande and Olusegun Osoba, former governors of Osun state and Ogun state, who played vital role in the development.
