The death has occurred of the chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Bola Shobowale.
The council boss passed away after a prolonged battle with ailments that have kept her away from office for close to a year.
Her death came just three days after the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, appointed the Vice Chairman, Oladipupo Oluwaloni, as the Acting Chairman, of the council.
While the council has yet to release an official announcement about her demise, tributes have begun to pour in from the political class and her associate within and outside the council area.
