Former Nigeria High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR has emphasized the importance of praising Allah in all circumstances.

According to the Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, during his address at Ekiti State Chapter of the National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO) 2nd Annual Ramadan Lecture as the Chairman of the occasion, reminded the audience that, within the context of Islam, gratitude and appreciation are essential virtues that bring believers closer to their Creator.

He urged the gathering to always thank Allah, regardless of their situation.

The Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Abiodun Oyebanji in his address delivered by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. (Mrs.) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro, highlighted the importance of unity, compassion, and kindness during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Governor’s message served as a reminder to the audience of the need to come together, support one another, and demonstrate empathy towards those in need.

The Chief Imam of the University of Abuja, Prof. Taofeeq Abdulazeez, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the theme entitled: “After Hardship Comes Ease”.

His profound message served as a reminder to the audience that, despite the challenges they may face, relief and comfort are always within reach.

The event, held at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre Fajuyi in Ado Ekiti, was attended by notable figures, like: President, Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs; Dr. H.A Bakare; Senator Abduganiyu Babafemi Ojudu; President General, League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, Fadhilat Shaykh Alhaji (Dr) Jamiu Kewulere Bello; Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Tertiary Education, Prof. Akeem Abdulazeez, and CEO African Pride Fabrics and Alhaja Ganiyu Olakitan Nana-Awaw Abiola.
