President Bola Tinubu on Saturday put in a call to Fuji maestro, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, to register his heartfelt condolences following the death of his mother, Alhaja Halima Anifowoshe.
K1 shared their telephone conversation on Instagram with a caption saying, “The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria called to commiserate with the King of Fuji Music.”
Theliberationnews reported that late Alhaja Halima Anifowoshe breathed her last on Saturday morning after a brief illness.
She was aged 105.
Confirming the demise of his loving mother via a post on instagram, K1 wrote: “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of King Wasiu Ayinde’s beloved mother. May her soul rest in peace, Alhaja Alimotu Shadiya Omoakeredolu Aya Anifowoshe. Iya rere. Sun re oo.”
