Orji Uzor Kalu, the senator representing Abia North in the National Assembly has distributed 15,000 bags of rice and 5,000 bags of fertilizer to his constituents.
Kalu disclosed this in a post made on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The Facebook post reads: “I’m thrilled to hear that the 15,000 bags of rice and 5,000 bags of fertilizer I recently distributed across Abia North Senatorial District are now being shared among the various wards.
“The essence of democracy is the people, which is why I embarked on the renovation of an additional 80 schools across the five LGAs in Abia North.
“This includes the distribution of educational materials such as science textbooks, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and school bags.
“Additionally, I have facilitated the construction of rural roads, the provision of solar streetlights, scholarships, and various human development programmes.”
